Fans Think Kate Middleton Shaded Meghan Markle In 'Awkward' New Video
WE LOVE THEM AND WILL MISS THEM DEARLY.
(And yes they're not technically going anywhere but I will miss seeing them on the Royal family circuit!!!!!)
The couple's last public appearance was on Monday at Westminster Abbey for Commonwealth Day.
The end of an era!
And while everyone looked gorgeous, Royal fans couldn't help but pick up on some perceived shade being thrown Meghan and Harry's way.
While Meghan and Harry were seated in church, Prince William and Kate Middleton went to sit in front of them.
However, it appears Kate barely acknowledged Meghan and Harry.
People TOTALLY took notice of the awkward interaction!!!!!!
"And William and Kate ignored them. Shameful. Harry and Megan more [sic] popular," replied one fan.
Some people felt that Kate was acting like a "mean girl" by ignoring Meghan.
"Good job Meghan don’t let Kate or William get to u! She may snub u but u know what they say it just means she's jealous. I think William might have smiled & said hello he will probably be scolded for it later. I’m sure Harry was telling u it was ok he loves u & so do we," tweeted one observer.

Fans were also putting blame on Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
Twitter seemed to believe Sophie was ignoring Meghan, too.
Others expressed their relief for Meghan and Harry to be stepping down from the Royal family.

People also thought William might have whispered something shady to Kate in the video.

People were so curious about what Will had said to Kate that they even got a professional lip reader involved, who shed some light on what might've been said.
Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately, depending on whose side you're on), it didn't appear to be very dramatic.

At least, not in a way that was about Harry and Meghan. According to the lip reader's best guesses, Will was saying "We can't shake hands and we have to hold back."
"We will have to put loads of hand gel on afterwards."

They also think William added, "I am not used to it, it feels weird."
Most likely, then, it looks like Will was whispering to Kate about all the precautions in place surrounding the coronavirus.
So maybe their lack of greeting was also a health precaution!

Maybe they couldn't shake hands with each other for their own health — after all, it's totally possible they did say hi where we couldn't quite catch it.
