62-Year-Old Fran Drescher Opens Up About Having A Friend With Benefits: 'It's Delightful And Keeps Me Going'

When it comes to television icons, we'd be terribly WRONG to exclude Fran Drescher.

Fran starred on the hit '90s sitcom "The Nanny" for seven years.

She was a television and FASHION icon.

She also made history by being the first Jewish woman to play a Jewish lead character in an American sitcom since the 1940s!

Including her religion, which she identifies as "Bu-Jew."

"As a Buddhist — or a Bu-Jew, which is more to the point of what I am, really — balance is a big part of your daily practice," she tells the publication.

"And I try and find balance in everything. I never forget where I come from," she continued.

"And inside, I’m still a chubby girl from Queens, anyway."

She reflected on not having children after having a hysterectomy in 2000, after being diagnosed with uterine cancer.

"I think I would have been a good mom and sometimes I think I kind of missed out on that.”

Fran's interview continued to give fans a glimpse into her love life.

Her second marriage to tech entrepreneur Shiva Ayyadurai ended three years after they tied the knot back in 2014.

About the brief marriage, she said: "The first year was bliss, the second year was agony and ecstasy, and the third year was just agony."

Now, Fran is not seriously dating anyone.

She has made it clear that her hysterectomy has caused no issues with her sex drive. In fact, she even has a friend with benefits!

"He comes over, we hang out and we do the hot tub and I make us some food and we lay in bed and maybe we’ll watch tennis together, whatever it is or a movie," she told Page Six.

"We talk, we have good conversations,” she continued.

"Of course we have sex and it’s delightful and it keeps me going.”

She also has a great relationship with her ex-husband, who came out as gay but is still her best friend.

"He fulfills a lot of needs," she said of Peter Marc Jacobson, whom she divorced from in 1999.

The actress is also staring in a new comedy "Indebted" with Steven Weber, Adam Pally and Abby Elliott.

The interview ended with the actress sharing her mantra, given to her by a spiritual adviser: "I love you, Fran. I know how wonderful you are. It’s Fran and Fran till the end of time."
