I've already hinted many times about how much of a tattoo fan I am. So when I stumble upon a new tattoo trend, I'm all over it. I have recently discovered something really interesting in the world of tattoo art and that's glow-in-the-dark ink.

Yes, you heard me right. Now you can actually get a tattoo that will glow when the lights go out. And there are so many cool designs to check out.

You might be wondering, "how is this even possible?" Well, let me enlighten you.

The tattoo ink is infused with phosphorous, the same element that you find in glowsticks.

The glow-in-the-dark tattoo will light up slightly in the dark, but you really see it shine when you expose it to UV light.

Isn't that absolutely amazing?

But, before you run out and cover your whole body with phosphorus-infused ink, just be warned that only a small amount of this chemical is actually safe.

You'll need to consult with an experienced tattoo artist.

In large amounts, it can be hazardous to your health.

Therefore, these types of tattoos are usually small so they contain very little amounts of this compound for safety reasons.
