'The Office' Is Welcoming A New Generation Of Fans With A Children's Book

The Office lived 9 glorious seasons in the U.S. From 2005 to 2013, the show was an emotional roller coaster of belly laughs that could shake the earth, cringeworthy interactions that turned stomachs, and sweet moments that captured everyone's hearts (mostly Jim and Pam moments).

Many Office fans are now grown up and having kids, but the show might be a little too irreverent to show to youngsters just yet.

To celebrate the show's 15th anniversary and welcome a new generation of 'The Office' fans, the show is releasing their own children's book.

It's called "A Day at Dunder Mifflin" and follows the iconic cast as Michael Scott tries to be a line leader, despite not knowing how to lead a line.

Thankfully, he's got Dwight, Pam, Jim, and Kelly to help him out.

The book's aim is to teach kids that it's okay to ask for help when you don't know something, even if you're the boss!

Even though the book is intended for kids aged 4 to 8, adults could really learn that lesson, too.

Actually, the 40-page book is apparently full of iconic references from the show, so it will be just as enjoyable for parents.

It's a tad worrisome what sorts of rated-G references they could put in a children's book, but I'm sure it's fiiiiiiiiine.

The kids don't know what they're getting themselves into, but when they're old enough, I'm sure they'll be just as enamored as we all are with the show.

NBC

You can pre-order the book on Amazon right now for $17.99, with an anticipated shipping date of October 6, 2020.
