Simple Nail Polish Hack Turns Easter Eggs Into Marbled Masterpieces

Easter is almost here, and the only reason I know isn't because I looked at a calendar for it. It's because I know Fat Tuesday is coming up, and food is my calendar.

Right about now we should be seeing pastel colors gracing retail and grocery aisles with products to get our Easter eggs looking super fly.

Instead of purchasing stickers and dyes and all that, use something you most likely have in your own home: nail polish.

Stickers fall off and waiting for the tablets to dissolve for the dye takes too long. And all you smell is vinegar, yuck.

Nail polish creates such a beautiful marbled effect that will makes your eggs look super elegant.

All you need are a few plastic bowls that you don't really care about getting dirty, whatever nail polish colors you like, and water.

Oh, and cooled off hard boiled eggs of course.

I'm following this Martha Stewart tutorial, because she's the G.O.A.T. when it comes to decorating.

Fill each bowl with some water and carefully drop nail polish into the water.

Use a wooden skewer or toothpick to carefully swirl the colors around.

Then, you want to work fast. Carefully dip an egg into the mixture and quickly take it out with a slotted spoon and let dry on some sort of egg drying rack. Martha linked one in her post.

Scoop out the old nail polish and start again!

After they dry, you'll have a ton of beautiful Easter eggs ready to be gathered, and most importantly, adored by all!
