Jessica Simpson Reveals She Was 'Heartbroken' After Unflattering Pics Of Her In 'Mom Jeans' Went Viral

Jessica Simpson's new memoir Open Book has let fans into the singer's world like never before.

Jessica announced back in July that she would be releasing a memoir in February 2020.

"I have been waiting for so long to share some exciting news...I will be releasing my first book on February 4th with @harpercollinsus. I have been working so hard on it - I have opened my heart up in a way I never have before and now I can’t wait to share it with the world," she wrote.

She revealed on Instagram that even though she's only 39, she feels like she has a lifetime's worth of knowledge and stories to share.

"A lot of people are asking me how I can write a memoir at the age of 39 and I completely thought the very same thing until I started to put all of my journals that I’ve kept since the age of 15 together. I’ve been very private about most of the hardest moments over the last 15 years. I am finally ready to share my story and life again with an open and honest heart like an Open Book...I have never been more proud of something on a professional and personal combination in my life. It took courage to do this and I can’t wait to be best friends with all of y’all through this phase."
