Jana Kramer’s Husband Admits He Recently Broke a Marriage ‘Boundary’ While Recovering From His Sex Addiction

Jana Kramer and her husband Mike Caussin got super candid on this week's episode of their podcast Whine Down.

While the pair have been open about Mike's sex addiction in the past, it seems the former NFL player has been struggling as of recent.

The tension has been palpable these past few weeks, and many fans thought the couple was on the rocks.

Jana admitted she was afraid of people judging her husband's potential relapse's.

Mike explained, "Even if I’m not relapsing or acting out or stepping outside of our marriage, if I’m still breaking boundaries or not being honest with things like the picture stuff, how is that sober?” he asked Jana, referring to the October 2019 incident when she discovered a photo of a topless woman on Mike's phone.

"How is that living with integrity? It’s not."

“He didn’t physically cheat on me,” Jana clarified for listeners.

"The reality is there was a boundary that was broken that was harmful for me because it was a discovery but it wasn't a physical acting out...It was such a big discovery with a boundary that was harmful to me and our relationship."

The pair have two children, Jolie, 3 and Jace, 1. Jana is thankful they can have open conversations for their sake.

"It’s a gratefulness that we can still be here conversing. It’s also that fear too. That’s been the hardest part of this month. We’ve both individually done a lot of work … I do feel hopeful for the tools that we’ve been learning, but it’s also very scary."

Jana addressed deleting all of hers and Mike's pictures from her Instagram last month, saying she started to "feel insane."

"I’m tail spinning," she explained.

"I feel like — and I know I’m not the only woman out there whose done that — but it becomes so out of control. I’m already at my limit with discoveries and lies that I hit it. I pressed the button. I said, [explective] it.’ This is where I’m unraveling. … It becomes this run-on."

We hope Jana and Mike work out their issues for the best!
