You might have been wondering whether or not the soda is red or its iconic dark brown self.

Turns out, it's the latter.
If Coca-Cola can do vanilla and cherry flavors and make it work, I'm sure strawberry works out swimmingly as well.

The folks over at Japan Today were able to give it a try, and they had a pretty pleasant experience.
The soda smelled very strongly of strawberry, but the flavor was quite subtle, almost resembling their cherry flavor.
Their final verdict: this isn't a gimic drink.
