Not only was Kobe given tribute at the Grammys, but so was Nipsey Hussle.
His fellow rappers, DJ Khalid, Meek Mill, John Legend, and Roddy Ricch all sang a song for them.
They rapped and sang about love, peace and the beauty of it all. It was truly a performance to remember.
John Legend was in a performance with all sorts of rappers, singers and all sorts of entertainers, but he too dedicated his performance to Kobe.
Or at least that's how it felt.
DJ Khalid, the legendary producer, was kind enough to do some shout outs at the end of his performance, shouting out not only Kobe but his daughter Kienna as well.
As you can see, Priyanka Chopra paid tribute to the true, blue American hero by wearing his number on one of her nails.
What a subtle way to honor the man.
Not only did the Jo Bros cancel all their interviews out of respect for the lost legend, but they also wore some purple ribbons to commemorate Bryant.
After Lizzo rocked the house, Alicia Keys was joined by Boyz II Men to sing “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday”.
She also gave a heartfelt speech about the player.
"We’re literally standing here heartbroken in the house that Kobe Bryant built. Right now, Kobe and his daughter Gianna and all of those who have been tragically lost today are in our spirit, they’re in our hearts, they’re in our prayers."
She claimed he also loved her music.
You can tell that this singer has a lot of respect for the late basketball star.
For starters, she declined to do an interview out of respect for the star.
“Tonight is for you Kobe", she said before kicking off an awesome mashup of “Cuz I Love You” and “Truth Hurts.”
He was one of the last rappers to show respect for the sports legend, but like many before him, he was seen throwing up a Kobe jersey in respect for Bryant.
During the Aerosmith and Run D.M.C performance, we got to see Rev. Run holding up a Los Angeles Lakers jersey, and it obviously belonged to the former legend who passed away that day.
During the show, if you looked up to the Staples Center you could see that both Kobe's numbers (24 and 8) were spotlighted.
Truly a great way to honor the basketball player.
