Jennifer Lopez Says She Wants To Move Away From America

As a singer and actress who's worked in Hollywood for decades, Jennifer Lopez has already accomplished so much.

But the one thing she hasn't yet ticked off her bucket list yet? Moving out of America.

We might be saying goodbye to Jenny from the Block pretty soon...

Say it ain't so!

Jennifer Lopez might be abandoning the life she's always known to move elsewhere in the world.

Nooooooooooo.

The "Hustler" star made these surprising comments during her recent interview for "Vanity Fair's" 2020 Hollywood issue.

She began by sharing how her 10-year-old self would react to all of the amazing things she's been able to accomplish in more than two decades in Hollywood.

"Oh, my God. So many things. Wow. When I did my first movie, when I booked my first dance job and went to Europe and nobody in my family had ever been to Europe. The first time I heard my record on the radio," she said.

"The first time I was in the studio recording a record. The first time I saw myself on screen and I was sitting in the movie theater, and I saw Mi Familia and I started crying."

She knows not to take any of these moments for granted, either.

"Sometimes I didn't believe my life," she said.

"I don't believe what happens to me and the things that I'm able to experience and the opportunities that I've gotten."

"It's every single moment, even till this moment, surprises me and touches my heart in a way that I could never really even begin to explain."

Even so, there are times where the singer/actress/amazing-at-everything star fantasizes about leaving it all behind.

"I would love to live somewhere other than the United States," she revealed.

Her top picks?

Italy and Bali.

"Find another life where it’s a little bit more simple and organic and where I get to ride a bike, and buy bread, and put it in my basket."

She continued: "And then go home and put jelly on it, and just eat and paint, or sit in a rocking chair where there was a beautiful view of an olive tree or an oak tree and I could just smell."

"I have fantasies like that," she said.

Although she dreams of this simplistic lifestyle, Lopez she has no plans to quit acting.

"I always felt like this is what I wanted to do. It was this or nothing. There was not really an option for me. It’s just what I love."

And if she does move, it won't be just her making the sacrifice.

She'll have to bring her family, which includes her soon-to-be husband, former New York Yankees, Alex Rodriquez.

This also includes Jen's twins, Emme and Max, from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony and Alex's daughters, Natasha and Ella.

While a wedding date for the longtime couple hasn't been announced yet, word has it that their wedding is going to be "big."

Alex even dropped some hints while on the "Strahan, Sara and Keke" show.

He began by teasing that it's going to be a "long flight" to get to the wedding, indicating that the nuptials might be a destination wedding.

“When you think about wedding plans and Jennifer is your partner, all you do is a lot of nodding," he joked.

While Jen spoke to ET, though, she was forced backtrack on a lot of the things Alex said.

"He's just saying things. We're talking about it, but we don't have any firm plans ... and we're talking about a lot of places [to get married in], but I don't know yet."

She did, however, drop a hint all her own by saying that she wants to get married in a church.

"I'd like a big wedding. And I'd like to get married in a church this time. I've never been married in a church."

In addition to her wedding, another thing keeping J.Lo in the US (at least for now) is her upcoming performance at the Superbowl Halftime show.

She told Harper's Bazaar:

"It’s a perfect moment in my life, honestly, but it’s also a great time for a Latina women to take the stage at the biggest all-American event, with everything that’s going on in the country right now."

"I’m super-happy to represent my community, to represent women, and to represent everybody, you know? It’s a big platform to bring people together.… It gets a lot of eyeballs."

"So if you can spread a little bit of love and positivity, and make people know that we’re all in this together? I look at it as a blessing."
