16+ People Who Made The Best Call

For many of us, it's oddly satisfying to see something very neatly arranged or that naturally coordinates its colors well. But it's also possible to be oddly satisfied by some of the little things we do.

It may not be possible to consistently draw a perfect circle, but on the rare occasions that we happen to do that, it's hard not to stare at our achievement for a moment. Even if nobody else gets it, it was satisfying to us.

Just because we may feel it the most strongly when we do something that fits this bill, however, that doesn't mean we can't get this feeling on a second-hand basis either.

Although some of the examples we're about to see are easier to explain than others, all will definitely bring up some unusual feelings.

I really appreciate this man's dedication to making sure everybody gets an equal slice of cake.

Reddit | Shroudss

Like, I can't say I scrutinize everyone's slice or worry about whether someone else's is bigger than mine, but there's something wholesome about the effort he put in to eliminate that worry.

People can get pretty intense when others cut them off, but it would be really hard to get mad if it was for this reason.

Reddit | oFelipegv

I mean, what else are you supposed to do when an already lovely dog is acting as cute as it possibly can? We're not made of stone, people!

There are a lot of wrong ways to do taxidermy, but whoever did this finally found one of the right ways.

Reddit | DanbeeTM

I don't think it's a controversial opinion to say that little skateboards make everything better.

This man is apparently quite famous in South Korea, but his choice of decoration would definitely make an impression even if he wasn't.

Reddit | Tomatoed10

Maybe you wouldn't want every guest in your home to be immediately greeted by a giant, screaming version of your face, but this makes it look very tempting to me.

I don't know what it is about dead bugs that brings out people's creative side, but it leads to some amusing results.

Reddit | hdennis1572

I've seen more than one memorial for a dead cockroach people found in their school's stairwells, but a full-on crime scene investigation is definitely a new one.

This display apparently lights up according to the time of day and that's pretty impressive.

Reddit | Deez_apples

It's also important to note its creator's restraint because it could suddenly get a lot less charming and a lot more irritating if it also stayed on during the night.

Apparently, some transit employees in Canada have found out that hockey sticks are actually great for clearing out frozen train doors.

Reddit | penapox

This definitely seems like something that started as a joke until there legitimately didn't seem to be a better option.

And how cosmically perfect is it than Canadians were the first to figure this out?

This physics teacher put her expertise to good use when the Australian bushfires came for her home.

Reddit | Drakey02

Not only did she manage to save her home, but she was able to save herself by retreating underwater with this scuba tank as the danger passed by.

This car's owner was parked illegally, so someone made sure they wouldn't be able to escape the scene.

Reddit | toukka27

Yup, this bad parker is in trouble now because this hood ornament is both completely essential for driving this thing and absolutely impossible to safely detach.

That was sarcasm, if you couldn't tell.

I'd like to think this person just happened to be wearing a Darth Vader costume when this liturgical crew passed by.

Reddit | commentshare

Whoever they are, they definitely found a clever way to get themselves on the news. A flowing cape is almost like a flowing robe, right?

I'm not sure why one would need to take down their snowman, but this definitely seems like a fun way to do it.

Reddit | seven_critical_blows

Bonus points for giving the snowman its own boxing gloves before whaling on it, too.

And all that punching is probably the only thing keeping this guy warm considering he's not exactly dressed for the weather.

I don't think they could have put this more plainly than that.

Reddit | BellaHi

This also makes me wonder how many times they've had to replace this sign, but the answer is still probably cheaper and less annoying than if it wasn't there.

This 3D printed lamp essentially lets people decorate an entire room just by flipping a switch.

Reddit | tyla-loved

This pattern was already pretty snazzy before the designer figured out how to let people surround themselves with it.

This 9-year-old boy was understandably nervous about getting an operation, so he brought this stuffed wolf with him.

Reddit | Sumit316

It's hard to tell from this photo, but the wolf had a tear in its leg and young Joshua here asked if the doctors could also do surgery on it.

Although his parents let him know that they might not have time to do that, he woke up to discover that the wolf was not only wearing a surgical mask and a cast, but had actual sutures where the tear once was.

When you have to deal with a situation this ridiculous, it helps to have a sense of humor.

Reddit | keigo199013

And I have to hand it to them, this is really the only explanation I'd have for why people would think flushing their change was a good idea, too.

This girl has a pretty ingenious reason to ask for a pull-up bar for Christmas.

Reddit | Thadirt

As amazing as this is, however, this probably isn't going to work like this for everyone, so don't try it at home.

These two obviously had a fun trip to the Children's Museum.

Reddit | Mofomania

Although the kid seems a little nervous about what's going on right now, who doesn't want their hair to look like they're in three different punk bands?

These Taal Volcano evacuees found a way to keep their spirits up after having to seriously uproot themselves.

Reddit | MinneapolisWisconsin

Apparently, all of the crazy clothes that they're showing off were donated to them.

More than anything, that makes me wonder what somebody had in mind when they sent that shirt on the bottom left.

Apparently, the person who set this up anticipated people snooping through their medicine cabinet.

Reddit | WayBackInMyDays

And while this is definitely a good way to find out who your nosiest friends are, it looks like everyone who came to this housewarming party passed the test.

Few things in life are more awkward than a bathroom door with no lock, but this crafty soul knew how to improvise.

Reddit | neverever4u

Thanks to this game-changing solution, so many of us will never have to awkwardly hold the door in place with our feet again.

I'm not sure how comfortable of a position this is, but that's still way more use than I expected this kid to get out of a shopping cart.

Reddit | Jef1538

No wonder so many people try to steal them.

With all the uses they have, shopping carts are apparently what would happen if someone in transportation design tried to harness the power of duct tape.

There's definitely something to be said for working with what you've got.

Reddit | ichand

I would normally recommend a shirt since bacon rarely cooks without spitting hot water at you, but I'd say he has the most important base covered.

I'm not sure what this person thinks the birds will do in here, but I have to admit that this was well-executed.

Reddit | nothingswritten

I can't imagine that I'd ever get tired of seeing birds innocently frolicking around this intense leather setup.

And who knows? Maybe all those spikes will make them feel more secure against predators.

Only in the most technical terms possible is this not a flatbed truck.

Reddit | Jtegg007

I'm not sure if it makes a dad joke worse or better when someone puts this much effort into one.

And true to the promise of this design, I have to say that the area where the mattress goes does look suitably flat. I was worried for a second.

As we can clearly see in the artist's message, hand-drawing a working QR code really took a lot out of them.

Reddit | ThirdFloorElevator

For that reason, I feel like I would be letting their hard work go to waste if I spoiled where this leads.

So instead, I'll just link you to their heartfelt message directly.

Sure, you can probably make a snowman in this weather, but somebody literally ate that idea for breakfast.

Reddit | Fish_Fap

This is certainly impressive on its own, but that "blood" gives the scene a lot of extra intensity.

I'm also not going to ask what that red stuff really is.

This isn't some insanely organized party. These refreshments have a reason to be arranged like this.

Reddit | boogerknows

To solve the mystery, this is actually prop food held by movie extras for what appears to be a cookout scene.

When they have to use the bathroom or something, they put the trays and cups they're supposed to have in their special boxes so nobody takes the wrong one.

Sadly, this isn't an actual NASA capsule that crash-landed next to this road.

Reddit | XXXTentacIes

Instead, it's a cement mixer that was apparently too heavy to move after its truck crashed in Winganon, Oklahoma during the 1950s.

Somewhere along the line, someone decided that it would be much cooler to pass by a space capsule every day than a discarded cement mixer. I think it's safe to say that they were right.

I have my doubts that this is a particularly well-attended club, but I certainly can't argue with their passion.

Reddit | dmorissette

As for me, though? If the promise of eating sand wasn't enough to keep me away, the fact that this guy apparently can't keep his finger off the trigger should definitely do it.

I guess he wasn't kidding about liking the sound of bullets coming out.

Obviously, this guy doesn't find the seats on this subway particularly comfortable.

Reddit | Wiildman8

And whether the other passengers like how much space he's taking up or not, I'd argue that he's doing them a favor.

If he wasn't there, somebody ranting about lizard people or trying to convince you that the earth is flat would be. No, thanks.

Sometimes, a parent's concerns can lead them to some embarrassing trains of thought.

Reddit | JayFreee

So yeah, changing the design to stop an onslaught of panicked phone calls and reassuring parents that, no, thermal paste isn't a drug was probably the right call.

That should cancel the high alerts until the next batch of cryptic slang comes out.

While attaching stuff to the outside of your car is generally kind of risky, this is probably the best example of that phenomenon I've seen.

Reddit | JackkHammerr

The idea to make a little band of dinosaurs was already incredibly adorable before they decided to give them a brass section.

Something about a little dinosaur playing a saxophone is just really cute to me.

The uploader captioned this picture, "His mom still cuts his hair."

Reddit | ishkabibble413

And not only is that the perfect way to describe this cat's unusual haircut, but its facial expression seems almost identical to the kid who now has to walk around like this.

This may not be what this air station was intended for, but I suppose it works just as well on this as it does on tires.

Reddit | sneakygreedo

I won't ask why this person is filling that doll up, but I have to admit that I kind of expected this station to pop it.

I guess they've already figured out how much pressure they need to use. Good for them?
