'Lilo And Stitch' Had To Change One Of Their Scenes To Address Safety Concerns

Well, this is a pretty good development. It's great when animated movies come out, especially when they're for kids.

It's bad, however, when they come out and encourage kids to do dumb, possibly dangerous stuff.

It's probably why Jackass: The Animated Feature For Children never got past the pitch meeting.

'Lilo and Stitch' was a great movie.

Disney

It was fun, it made you feel all sorts of sad and happy emotions, and best of all: it was downright adorable.

It just seems designed to make us go "aww".

The best dynamic was between Lilo and her sister, Nani.

Disney

Because it showed the hardships of living with a sibling when the parents are deceased, both on Lilo's side and her sister's.

It was powerful and moving all at once.

But did you know there could have been one small difference?

Remember this scene, where Nani is chasing Lilo around and she eventually captures her when she tries to get out of the dryer?

Well, Disney has an alternative ending for that.

Here it is:

They changed the dryer around to... a pizza box resting upwards on a dresser... so that kids would not be encouraged to hide in dryers.

Nobody show those kids Looney Tunes.
