Fans Are Canceling Their Disney+ Accounts Now That 'The Mandalorian' Is Over

The Mandalorian was a massive hit for Disney+ from the get-go.

The show brings in audiences new and old, as it is a completely solo tale within the Star Wars franchise, while also hitting us with that deep nostalgia and nerdy feelings that we love so much.

'Star Wars' is one of the best and most important franchises of our time.

No matter how you may feel about the recent trilogy, the fact is, the movies give us everything we need: action, drama, love, and space.

Considering the massive success of the franchise, it makes sense that more creations would come from it.

There have been standalone films, animation shows, and even books!

Star Wars shows no sign of stopping any time soon, even if the movies are done.

So when Disney+ was announced, we knew that something big was coming.

While Marvel and old vault films were what fans wanted to see the most, they were also expecting some huge Star Wars news.

And we got what we wanted.

Lucasfilms

Not only did we immediately get the first episode of The Mandalorian but we also got confirmation that we'd be getting an Obi-Wan Kenobi show!

We know that Ewan McGregor will be taking his rightful place as Obi-Wan.

And the show is even looking to cast a young Luke Skywalker!

This is basically going to send us all into deep fits of joy and probably tears.

But right now, all the hype has to do with 'The Mandalorian'.

In fact, a lot of people only signed on for Disney+ because of the promise of that show.

It exceeded all of our expectations.

Season 1 of 'The Mandalorian' is over.

But don't worry, it has already been confirmed that season 2 is coming in 2020.

So thankfully, Star Wars fans won't have to wait very long for some new content.

One of the best things that came out of the show? Baby Yoda.

Baby Yoda became a meme online, and a child that the entire internet agrees we all need to protect with our lives.

No, we are not being overdramatic.

Another amazing thing? The unexpected potential romance that has us all swooning.

Basically everyone wants Omera to see Din Djarin's face behind his helmet.

They are so obviously into each other.

But another unexpected thing that came out of this show has to do with the fans.

Now, people are going ahead and cancelling their Disney+ subscriptions.

Why? It's the answer to their "I watched my show and now I don't want to pay for Disney+".

But...there's a pretty big problem with that logic.

My question is: don't they know that it is getting a second season?

What will fans do then? Go back to the service? Or illegally download it? Time will tell.
