'The Witcher' Has Been Renewed For Season 2

Although the show is extremely new, no one is at all surprised that the show has wound up being the best-rated show on Netflix, already being renewed for another season.

Oh well, might as well nail Henry Cavil down before he makes the mistake of doing another freaking Superman movie.

So 'The Witcher' has been out for a while and people are already declaring it "the next big thing".

In fact, people love it so much, they have already rated it higher than Stranger Things and Tuca and Bertie!

That's a big and bold move.

It's definitely the fantasy show we needed to help us move on from 'Game of Thrones'.

How The Witcher managed to blow that masterpiece out of the water is beyond me, and yet here we are.

The showrunner of the series, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, is happy to hear people like the series.

She said:

"I'm so thrilled that before fans have even seen our first season, we are able to confirm that we'll be returning to The Continent again to continue telling the stories of Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri,"

Well, people like it so much that it has already been renewed for a second season!

When can we expect this second season to come out?

Well, it looks like they'll start shooting in 2020 for a planned debut in 2021. That's quick work!
