Woah, now isn't this an interesting development! I'm sure fans of Empire are pretty happy about this, but all the people who are still pissed off about his little incident probably have a lot to say about it.
But then again, the aforementioned P.O'ed. people probably aren't Empire fans. So it's a win-win!
In a flash, he was written off of Empire because of the whole business that surrounded his "arrest".
Since then we haven't heard too much about him or his character. Until now.
So yay, Empire fans, that sounds cool, doesn't it?
Even though creator Lee Daniels said: "Jussie will NOT be returning to Empire", showrunner Brett Mahoney says that a cameo by Jussie might not be such an impossible thing.
"It would be weird in my mind to end this family show and this family drama of which he was such a significant part of without seeing him. It's fair to say it's being discussed, but there's no plan as of yet to bring him back. There's been no decision made."
Maybe they can recreate what happened to him in real life? That probably wouldn't fly, though.
