Demi Lovato is a survivor.
It's been over a year since her near-fatal overdose in 2018, and since then, the singer has made such a comeback.
To celebrate her one year of sobriety, she even memoralized the accomplishment with a neck tattoo!
There have been so many incredible moments where the singer seriously slayed in 2019.
"I want this new chapter in my life to be about being authentic to who I am rather than trying to meet someone else’s standards," she wrote.
A few days after, she even declared herself photoshop-free when sharing this lime green leopard-print bikini selfie.
So many celebs nailed Halloween this year and the former Disney star was no exception.
She had not one but two killer costumes: Marie Antoinette and a sexy version of IT the clown.
After Demi snuck into the reality star's DMs, they flirted publicly —much to fans delight — and even went on a few dates.
She's been dating model Austin Wilson since November.
"Demi is in a really good place right now and hard at work in both the studio and shooting 'Will and Grace,'" they said.
The singer-actress has been cast as Jenny in the show's final season, where she'll appear in at least three episodes.
This is such a huge accomplishment, especially considering the near-fatal overdose she experienced in 2018.
"What I see in the mirror [is] someone that's overcome a lot," she told Teen Vogue Summit.
This includes an eating disorder and the bipolar diagnosis she received in 2011.
"I wouldn't change the direction of my life for anything. I would never regret anything. I love the person that I am today," she added.
To memorialize how far she's come, she recently had the word "survivor" tattooed on her neck.
Demi's BF Austin praised her in the comments:
"The most beautiful girl in this world," he wrote.
Lovato has the words "stay strong" on her wrist, "now I'm a warrior" her back, and a rose on the inside of her finger, which she got when she hit six months of sobriety.
The new ink looks great and we're so proud of you, Demi!
