Hollywood Legend Kirk Douglas Celebrates His 103rd Birthday
Douglas has been given an honorary Oscar for 50 years as a creative and moral force in the motion picture community.
He's also scored three separate Best Actor nominations over the course of career, alongside Golden Globes, Emmys, and a SAG Lifetime Achievement Award.
He's also the father of actor Michael Douglas and producer Joel Douglas.
Friends, family, and fans took to social media to celebrate Douglas' birthday.

Douglas' daughter-in-law, Catherine Zeta Jones, shared this photograph, captioned, "This guy on my knee, is 103!!!!! Happy Birthday Pappy!!! I love you with all my heart."

Michael Douglas, however, recently revealed that his father did not want a big celebration this year, saying, "Okay, so he was 100. Big birthday, big birthday. The trouble is, when you're 100, you don't really want a big birthday. I threw a big party for him, it was great."
Michael explained he had thrown another party for his father's 101st and 102nd birthdays.
Michael playfully explained that by this year, "He's begging me, he's got tears down his eyes. 'Let's just have dinner, the family together. Bring the kids.'”
It looks like he got exactly what he wanted!
