Walmart Website Removes Christmas Sweater Featuring Santa With Lines of Cocaine

Walmart Canada has issued a public apology after featuring a number of rather naughty, adult-themed Christmas sweaters on their website, Global News reported.

In one of not-so-festive tops, an animated and bug-eyed Santa Claus can be seen sitting in front of several lines of cocaine, and while this wouldn't have turned any heads if it were spotted in a Spencer's store, it was certainly off-brand for Walmart.

Before the sweaters were taken down from the website, people were able to take screenshots of the questionable attire.

In the description for this particular "Let It Snow" sweater, the retailer writes, "That’s why Santa really likes to savor the moment when he gets his hands on some quality, grade A, Colombian snow. He packs it in perfect lines on his coffee table and then takes a big whiff to smell the high quality aroma of the snow."

Another sweater on the website featured a strategically-placed upside-down snowman.

There was also reportedly a third naughty top which showed Santa roasting his...ahem, chestnuts over an open fire.

The sweaters were all made by a third-party retailer, FUN.

Walmart Canada has since removed the sweaters from its website and apologized for the offensive tops.

“These sweaters, sold by a third-party seller on Walmart.ca, do not represent Walmart’s values and have no place on our website," a spokesperson for the retailer told Global News.

"We have removed these products from our marketplace. We apologize for any unintended offence this may have caused."
