Someone Got A Tattoo Of Baby Yoda Drinking A White Claw And That's A Wrap On 2019

If anyone ever asks you what happened in 2019, all you need to do is show them this man's tattoo of Baby Yoda hugging a can of White Claw seltzer and they'll know everything they need to know.

According to Mashable, Toronto, Canada native Brock McLaughlin decided to best way to bid farewell to 2019 and the 2010s as a whole was to ink the cutest lil' sci-fi character you ever did see onto his body.

Oh, and he also added a White Claw in there too, just for good measure.

Photos of his body art were posted onto his Twitter account where they quickly went viral.

In the post, which has nearly 30,000 likes and over 4,800 retweets, McLaughlin wrote, "Ain't no laws when baby yoda drinking claws."

Apparently, it took local tattoo artist Paul Wolk about two hours to create this 2019 masterpiece which just might be the ultimate conversation starter.

McLaughlin explained he was fascinated by the cult status of White Claw from the summer of 2019, and Baby Yoda's recent rocket into fame.

"Baby Yoda and White Claw together just seemed like the perfect combination," the marketing strategist told Mashable.

His friends are all big fans of the ink, as far as McLaughlin knows, and as for his girlfriend?

"[She's] supportive," he said, "Which is how I know she's a keeper."

Online, people seem to either really love the tattoo or seriously disapprove of the piece that they say features "already irrelevant" trends of 2019.

"True bravery is getting a very permanent tattoo of the most fleetingly topical thing in our culture right now," this person wrote.

Another added, "My favorite part about this tattoo is the part where you think everyone is laughing with you."

But, like I said, McLaughlin's tattoo still has its supporters, including White Claw itself.

The company's official twitter account has actually responded to McLaughlin's tattoo and tweeted, "Truly wonderful, this tattoo is."

Well, you can't beat free advertising, I guess.

Look, there were a bunch of trends from the 2010s that I'm sure made it onto random people's skin *à la* permanent ink.

Remeber Harambe from 2016? People got tattoos about him. Someone replying to McLaughlin's tattoo even revealed they have a Linsanity tattoo from 2012 when NBA star Jeremy Shu-How Lin ignited a global craze.

Fads come and go, but tattoos are usually forever, so as long as you love your ink (and clearly, McLaughlin does), then that's all that matters.
