Kurt Russell And Goldie Hawn Coming Back For 'Christmas Chronicles 2'

Well, it's good to see that these two are going to get more screentime together.

They make such a great couple on the screen, probably because they make a good couple offscreen as well.

Luckily, Netflix heard the cries for more love and fun with these two, and answered our calls. We're getting a sequel.

So it looks like we're going to get 'The Christmas Chronicles 2'.

Yet another movie where Kurt Russell is playing ol' Saint Nick.

But this time around, he'll be once again teaming up with Kate Pierce when a dastardly creature named Belsnickel threatens to destroy Christmas.

But that's not all that's new about 'The Christmas Chronicles 2'.

We won't just be getting a new villain (played by that kid who played Firefist in Deadpool 2, Julian Dennison) we'll be getting a new director as well.

None other than Chris Columbus.

Not the guy who discovered America (he's dead), but the guy who directed the Harry Potter movies.

So yeah, we're probably in for a treat.

But it's that very same non-dead non-explorer who talked to People the other day to chat about Kurt Russell's and Goldie Hawn's chemistry on set.

Needless to say, it's just about the sweetest thing ever.

“There’s a tremendous amount of respect there and a tremendous amount of love and trust, partially because they’ve been together for so long.”

But there's more, as he goes on!

When he was asked whether or not Goldie and Kurt's huge family (Wyatt Russel, the guy from Goon 2 and Kate Hudson, you know who she is) would make an appearance, Columbus smiled and said:

“You never know.”

So what can we expect from the sequel?

Mostly just a lot of cast announcements. Which at least tells you something!

But the plot is being held tightly under wraps, so there's no chance of you finding out too much about it.

Here are all the names you can expect in the cast.

Judah Lewis, Darby Camp, Kimberly Williams Paisley, Russell, and Hawn will all be returning.

New cast members include Julian Dennison and Jahzir Bruno as Jack.

Considering the fact that Hawn only made a brief appearance in the first film, fans will be very happy to see her return for the second.

After all, the woman is basically the star of every and anything she is in.

Just her name is enough to bring people to see a movie!

Are you excited for the sequel?

Or do you think that some movies are better left as a one-shot?
