Sustainable And Cruelty-Free Puffer Jackets Replace Feathers With Flowers

With the realities of climate change being revealed more and more every year, brands are beginning to make more conscious decisions to try and be as sustainable and Earth-friendly as they can.

Sustainable and eco-friendly clothing brand PANGAIA has always kept Mother Earth in mind (hence the name), but they've found a super innovative way to keep people warm in colder climates.

It might have you smelling pretty good, too.

They've developed a puffer jacket called FLWRDWN that uses wildflowers instead of bird feathers to keep you warm.

The flowers neither harm animals nor the planet!

As a matter of fact, the flower fields from which these jackets are made also help give back to other living creatures in the environment, like butterflies.

The brains at the company included a host of individuals, including both scientists and designers, to combine their expertise to create the game-changing product.

The jackets are not cheap, running for $550 for the short versions and $750 for the longer design. But the price for taking care of the environment and looking fly at the same time? Priceless.

PANGAIA

The jackets are super stylish and functional, and no one will even know you're being kept warm by a pack of wildflowers!

The long puffer coat also unzips at the waist and shoulders to create a vest. We love a versatile product!

It's the brand's hope to share their technology with other companies and continue to shape fashion while taking care of the environment.
