Dying 'Star Wars' Fan Was Given An Early Screening Of 'The Rise Of Skywalker' By Disney

Star Wars is one of the biggest franchises of all time, and the massive 9-movie epic is coming to an end on December 20th.

Star Wars is owned by Disney, who has a tendency for making dreams come true, which is what they did for one fan who really needed the good news.

'Star Wars' is a franchise that is beloved around the world.

And while many of us will be running over one another to get to the theater, not everyone has that chance.

One fan in particular, who is dying, won't be able to make it to the premiere of the movie. So Disney stepped in.

The hospice where the fan is, sent out a tweet, urging Disney or a celebrity to take attention to the fact.

Thankfully, Mark Hamill saw the tweet, and since he's big on doing good (as we all should be), he redirected the hospice to Robert Iger the CEO of Disney.

Iger said he would try, but then, he quickly corrected himself and realized it was something he just had to do.

Lisa Davies, the hospice worker who set this all in motion said, "We totally appreciate that Disney have had to move mountains to make this happen,"

"The response from everyone, including the ‘Star Wars’ community, has been absolutely phenomenal over the last few days."

"We also want to thank the media for covering the story and totally respecting the privacy of the family."

A photo of the fan, who wished to stay anonymous, was tweeted.

Our hearts go out to the fan and his family in these hard times.
