10+ Mistakes From 'American Pie' Fans Completely Missed

During the scene where Stifler is talking to the girl, the cup switches from clear to blue and then, back to clear again.

This mistake was courtesy of the MPAA, who wouldn't give the movie an R-Rating unless the contents were obstructed.

Prior to being seduced by Stifler's mom, Finch is playing with the pool balls on the table.

In the next shot, we see that the balls are in the same place.

Speaking of the Stifler's Mom seduction scene, when Finch enters the door marked "please keep out", the handle is on the left (meaning when he goes in, the handle will be on the right).

But when he goes in, the handle is still on the left.

During the prom scene, there's a moment when the drummer taps on his hat.

But when the sound comes out, it sounds a whole lot like a crash cymbal.

So there's this scene in the movie where Oz goes from the parking lot to the library and back to singing in the classroom.

During this period, his shirt changes twice.

When Jim is watching TV in the opening scene, we know that it's night because his mom comes in to kiss him, well, goodnight.

Except when you look through the window, it's obviously day.

When Jim comes home to find the pie on the counter, there's a note from his mom that says "You're favorite".

Uh... did you go to grade school, Jim's mom? It's "your" favorite, not "you are" favorite!

Duh!

At the moment where Finch is running to the toilet, you can see a wire coming down from his shirt.

It's probably a mic, so we're not sure how they missed this one.

Another issue with the band at prom is during the song "(Don't You) Forget About Me", you can see that none of the band are actually playing their instruments.

That was money well spent.

There's a Blink 182 cameo in the movie, featuring Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker. Travis Barker actually replaced Scott Raynor as the band's drummer, yet Scott Raynor is still credited.

Oops!

While Oz is doing his duet, you can see that a lot of the audience is cardboard cutouts.

Listen, guys, I know it's a high school show, but try to actually show up for your kids!

This one comes from the scene where Finch goes to the bathroom to poop.

The amount of toilet paper he puts on the seat changes instantly, like within a single cut. God, Finch must be pretty fast!

At the beginning of the infamous webcam scene, Jim adjusts the camera so you can only see his bed.

But as we all know, near the end, we can see half the room.
