It's been reported that the famous family from TLC's former show, 19 Kids and Counting, had their Arkansas house raided by U.S. Homeland Security last week.
“[I do not dispute the information that] HSI was present [at the Duggar home] pursuant to an ongoing federal criminal investigation,” the spokesperson said.
Back in September, Kark.com reported that he's “accused of fraud and is being sued for ‘quiet title’ and breaching a contract, according to court records.”
The three-day jury trial reportedly begins April 27, 2020.
Back in 2015, he was accused of molesting two of his younger sisters, Jill and Jessa.
“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends,” he began.
"I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life.”
Josh ended up admitting to having a porn addiction, as well as cheating on his wife through the "infidelity" website, Ashley Madison.
Josh ended up issuing a public apology on the family's website, citing himself as “the biggest hypocrite ever.”
Since then, they've managed to stay out of any major public drama... until now.
A rep for the Duggar family released a statement to People regarding the matter.
"To the best of our knowledge, it’s also not true that any member of our family is the target of any investigation of any kind.”
The rep’s statement continued: “It would be a full-time job if we attempted to do so. However, because of tonight’s media coverage, we thought it is important to address this rumor with you."
"Thank you for the love and support that we can always count on in you our fans and friends.”
He's the Duggar son who recently announced that he's running for Arkansas State Representative as a conservative.
It's also been reported that Jed, along with Josh's wife Anna, who's currently expecting their sixth child, has limited the comments on their Instagram accounts.
This could have something to do with the current allegations.
