Kristen Bell And Dax Shepard Continue To Prove They're The Most Relatable Couple

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell are seriously couple goals.

They are both hilarious, talented AF, they've got the whole parenting thing all figured out, but above all else, despite being famous, they're still incredibly relatable.

There's really nothing not to love about Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard.

While they're both extremely famous, they still manage to be surprisingly relatable to the rest of us non-celebs.

For example, when it comes to parenting, they always keep it real.

Dax and Kristen have two daughters, Lincoln, six, and Delta, four, and they've never been shy about sharing tidbits of parenting advice every now and then as they figure things out.

Kristen once admitted that she and Dax lock their four-year-old in her bedroom when it's time to go to sleep.

While it did spark some controversy, she admitted to a strategy that I'm sure many parents have at least tried.

"I'm sorry, I know that's controversial, but we lock it when she gets in there, and we stand outside and say, 'We love you, we will talk to you in the morning, but now, it's time for sleep,'" Kristen said.

"And after about 10 minutes, she'll wind herself down. And then, before we go to bed, obviously, we unlock it."

She has also confessed that sometimes, she and Dax feel vulnerable as parents.

This is another thing that although not all parents will admit, they've definitely felt.

"I don't know what we have power over. It's certainly not each other or our children," she said.

"We don't feel powerful. We really just get by. We feel, you know, a little vulnerable just as much as everyone else does."

She and Dax have also admitted that they still accidentally swear sometimes in front of their kids.

A slip-up that everyone has made before — whether you're a parent or not.

"We don't limit ourselves as much as we should at home," Kristen said.

"The way we explain it is, 'Look, you're 5 years old. You can't drive my car. You can't vote. You can't drink alcohol. You can't swear.' So far, they've obliged."

Genius.

They're always poking fun at each other on social media.

Having a solid, healthy relationship means having the perfect flirt to roast ratio. If you don't playfully make fun of each other from time to time, are you even in a relationship?!

Dax once shared this photo of Kristen wearing gloves in a swimming pool, with the caption:

"My bride wears gloves in the pool because she hates the feeling of pruney finger tips on skin. #Hollyweird #iloveher".

Wearing gloves in the pool? Not relatable. Posting it online? Very relatable.

Even the way they met was so real.

Hardly anyone really falls in love at first sight, and Kristen and Dax have been totally honest about it. “There were no sparks whatsoever," she said about the first time they met.

“Two weeks later, we both met at a hockey game. We are both from Detroit and Red Wings fans."

Instagram | @daxshepard

"And we saw each other at the hockey game. Started to flirt. Left. And then a day after that I get a text that says, ‘Hi, my name is Dax. I violated your privacy and got your number from Shauna. How do you feel about that?’ And I was like, ‘Excuse me? You sound stimulating.'"

So cute.

Anyway, just when we thought they couldn't be any more relatable, they proved us wrong.

Kristen shared a clip of herself from @marcopoloapp about her company, Hello Bello's photoshoot, when she realizes she still has toothpaste dripping off of her lip.

"Oh my god, so gross," she said before wiping it away. "Those are so cute. What are the plaids in the background?"

Just then, Dax sneakily gets into the frame, flexing his muscles — a classic husband thing to do while your wife is video-chatting.

"The plaids are awesome," she added, laughing as Dax continues to flex in the background.

This was just such a real-life, human, relationship moment. It doesn't get any realer than this.

"I feel like the world needs to know what its like to be on @marcopoloapp with the Shepards," Kristen captioned the video.

"I was responding to the insanely talented @hartben about our new @hellobello photo shoot, When Dax's training took over and he "found the lens.

Of course, they're not JUST relatable. They're also awesome parents.

In a recent interview, Kristen spoke about how she had the 'Santa' discussion with her 6 year old daughter, Lincoln, saying, "I pictured her in a more adult situation where she had a sinking feeling in her gut and wanted to ask [a] question."

It was honestly parenting goals.

"Was I going to pat her on the head and go, ‘Stop thinking about that, I already told you, it’s fine, believe me,' or would I want to produce the kind of person who goes, 'I’m sorry, I really do need more information on this?'"

Her answer for her daughter kept the fun in Christmas without being dishonest.

She told Lincoln that believing in Santa Claus is "an imaginary game we play because it’s really, really fun."

Relatable and inspirational, to be honest!
