Black Widow Film Reported To Be 'Raw' And 'Painful'

After all these years, after being in every single Avenger movie, after having her entire character arc completed in other people's and compilation movies, Black Widow is finally going to get her own.

To say it very simply: it's definitely what she deserves.

Black Widow is one of our favorite Avengers.

So for a while, we were all scratching our heads, wondering when she was going to get her own movie.

Well, we need no longer wonder, because the Black Widow movie is going to be out on May 1, 2020.

But what will it be about?

Well, apparently, it's going to take place in between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War.

It's going to feature characters like Taskmaster and the Red Guardian, so we can probably expect some espionage.

Whatever it is going to be, apparently we can expect it to be "raw" and "painful"

That's at least what Florence Pugh said in Variety's Actors On Actors:

“I think we’ve made something very raw and very painful and very beautiful and I think people are going to be really surprised by the outcome of a big action film having that much heart"

She also complimented Black Widow herself, Scarlett Johansson.

"And I know lots of people will be emotional about her because her character had such a hard ending [in “Infinity War”], but it was special learning from her, and she’s been doing this for like 10 years in those films."

"For this to be her film was special. And I got to be there and see how she does stunts and lives it, and it’s so her.”
