10+ Mistakes From The Christmas Classic 'Love Actually'

While it may be a Christmas Classic, there are a bunch of moments that seemed to have slipped past the editors.

So these are all these mistakes that they, and you, missed. Because after all, no one is perfect, especially not Hollywood.

The Scene With Sarah And Harry In Harry's Office

Universal Pictures

There's a scene where the two aforementioned characters are meeting up in Harry's office, and Harry goes to show her out.

In this scene, we can see that the sliding cupboards have changed where they were and that the blinds are slightly more open.

David's Tie Changes

Universal Pictures

When David is being introduced to his household staff, there are some tie changes between shots. It's not too jarring a change to be noticeable, but it's still a chance.

The blue and the dots change in the darkness and in space between each other, respectively.

Mark's Wooden Pole

Universal Pictures

There's a scene where Mark is watching Billy on TV and there's a wooden pole in the background of his apartment.

However, in a later shot, that very same wooden pole has disappeared.

The Changing People

There's a scene where Daniel (The British Prime Minister) and Billy Bob Thorton (The U.S. President) have a press conference.

Well, between wide, medium and close up shots the people in the crowd keep changing.

"Milwaukee International"

Universal Pictures

The scene where Colin lands in an airport in Milwaukee, it says "Milwaukee International" on the front of it.

Except that the airport in Milwaukee is actually called General Mitchell International.

Emma Thompson's Hand

Universal Pictures

There's a scene where Harry gives Karen a gift, the Joni Mitchell record, and she looks at it.

The shot flips to a shot of Emma Thompson's hand, except it's definitely not her hand.

Daniel's Pillow

Universal Pictures

So this mistake takes place after Daniel and Sam have finished watching Titanic and are sitting on the couch together.

In two different close-ups, Daniel's pillow keeps on moving around.

Mark's Arm

Universal Pictures

When Mark answers the door, Juliet says to him "Banoffee Pie?" and his arm is down by his side.

In the next shot, we see that Mark's arm is up against the door frame.

The Coat Rack

Universal Pictures

There's a scene where Sarah is leaving Harry's office and she hangs her coat up at the door, on a rack.

When she leaves, we can see the coat rack is in a different position.

Spanish or Italian?

Universal Pictures

When Jamie is talking to Aurelia, he says "molto Bueno" to her because his housekeeper woman told him it was Spanish.

She was misinforming him because molto is actually an Italian word.

Heathrow Airport

Universal Pictures

There's a scene when Sam is going to say goodbye to Joanna and he runs through Terminal 1 at Heathrow airport to say goodbye to her.

Virgin Atlantic flights only depart Heathrow from terminal 3.

The Hors D'oeuvre

Universal Pictures

When Colin is speaking with Nancy at Juliet and Peter's wedding reception, he puts an hors d'oeuvre in his mouth.

Without chewing, he spits it out and suddenly the hors d'oeuvre is considerably smaller.

"Both Sides Now"

Universal Pictures

There's a scene where Karen is listening to a Joni Mitchell album as she cries to the song "Both Sides Now".

It shows that she's crying to Track 7, but "Both Sides Now" is Track 12 on the CD.

Mark's Popped Collar

Universal Pictures

There's a scene in the airport where Jamie and Aurelia are meeting up with Juliet, Peter, and Mark.

Mark's collar goes from popped to completely straight depending on the shot.
