Comedian and actor Kevin Hart has made his first official public appearance since the devastating car accident he was involved in in early September to deliver an emotional and touching speech at the People's Choice Awards this weekend.
Kevin showed his intense recovery process for a severe back injury sustained during the crash, and said, “I’m thankful for life. I’m thankful for simply still being here.”
Kevin approached the microphone to a standing ovation from the crowd, which was well-earned after the intense journey he has been through. "First and foremost, thank God because I definitely don't have to be here," he began by saying.
"It makes me appreciate the things that really matter. Family. I want to thank my wife and kids, who really stepped up to the plate for me," he said.
"You have no idea the effect you have on us as entertainers your energy, your support. It means the world and I truly want to thank you guys for being there for me in my difficult time," Kevin said.
