Woman Creates Life-Size Gingerbread House With Her Sweet DIY Skills

I wrote about Christine McConnell recently when I showed you how she decorated her parents' house for Halloween.

Now I want to bring to your attention another awesome project she did. This time she transformed the same house into the perfect gingerbread house for Christmas and it looks just as amazing. See for yourself.

I once dated a guy who lived in a little house that reminded me of a gingerbread house.

This is actually Christine's parents' home, and it definitely has some gingerbread vibes going on.

Clearly this lady is a master when it comes to projects like these.

The amount of detail required is truly astounding. She must have lots of time on her hands.

Apparently, doing this was the fun part for her.

Is she a glutton for punishment? No seriously, this project definitely called for some mad decorating skills. Right?

Once the whole project was completed she called upon her nieces to help her out and play the parts of Hansel and Gretel.

Looks like they're having loads of fun.

The final product looks like something out of a fairy tale.

There's something about it that looks sweet and seasonal, but also a little spooky too, no?

Imagine coming home to this awesome display?

I can't even. This house would be the envy of any neighborhood. For real. It looks so spectacular and breathtaking. Wow.

She recently started making her own clothes which she prefers rather than getting store bought ones.

This dress only took her two days and ended up costing $28.

She's been making her own Christmas dresses for the past three years.

She claims it's pretty easy once you learn the basics and much cheaper than regular shopping.

And if you're a fan of her Netflix show "The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell" I've got some good news for you.

She's back with a new show!

It's a monthly YouTube series called "From the Mind of Christine McConnell".

In this series, she shares some of her more unusual projects like cake-decorating, shoe-making, or even repurposing furniture.

In the first episode she ends up working on a project to transform a 1970s pull-out couch into an Edwardian-style sofa.

The final result looks simply gorgeous.

Christine has loved sharing her art since she was a kid and she's thrilled to now have a proper outlet to share her vision and tips with a new audience.

And we can't get enough of her awesome creations

Her new show is made possible from the support it receives on the Patreon platform where she has various subscriptions available.

Members have access to exclusive episodes and other extras.

Are you a fan of this gothic DIY queen?

I'm definitely starting to check out more of her stuff recently. Her style is totally up my alley. It's so unique.
