A 36-year-old disabled military veteran shares her harrowing experience of being refused treatment for a life-threatening illness by doctors who didn't believe her. After being rushed to the ER with severe head pain, she was diagnosed with a migraine and sent home. For the next two weeks, she suffered from constant pain and a host of other symptoms, but her requests to be seen by her GP were repeatedly ignored.

Now she's seeking accountability and hoping to prevent similar treatment for others. Read her full story here.
