The award-winning actor became a first-time dad following his marriage to Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001. The pair adopted Isabella and Connor in 1992 and 1995 after a long battle with conceiving.
During Kidman and Cruise's divorce, the Eyes Wide Shut actress had an ectopic pregnancy. She, however, moved on with singer Keith Urban and welcomed two daughters, Sunday and Faith, via surrogate.
Cruise also took a leaf off Kidman's books and married Katie Holmes in 2005. They then welcomed daughter Suri in April 2006, seven months before they tied the knot in Italy.
Six years after they said I Do, Holmes filed for divorce from Cruise in 2012. Reports revealed that news of the divorce caught the Mission: Impossible star by surprise.
Terms of the agreement are confidential and would stay that way as the judge ordered the file impounded, which means it'll always remain locked away at the court on Center Street.
Kidman and Cruise opened their hearts to Isabella a few months after her birth in 1992, and she has since practiced Scientology, just like her father.
She expressed her gratitude to her father in a March 2019 newsletter from the desk of the organization.
While Isabella has kept herself away from the public eye, Kidman is a bit more expressive as she spoke about Isabella and her brother Connor in a Who magazine interview in 2018.

16-year-old Suri Cruise is the only daughter of Katie and Tom's marriage. Holmes has maintained a close relationship with her daughter as she told Town & Country in 2017 that she provides her with a "stable and innocent" childhood.
Unfortunately, it's been revealed that the Knight and Day actor has no active role in Suri's life.
The actor sued two magazines for libel back in 2012 following reports that he had abandoned his daughter after the divorce from Katie Holmes.
In his statement to the lawyers representing these two magazines, Cruise said,
"Listen when there's a divorce...things change, It's not an ideal scene. It's not an ideal situation."
He was further grilled if any agreement prevented him from seeing Suri for over 100 days post-divorce from Holmes. Cruise blamed their clashing schedule for his absence.
The magazine's lawyers also quipped why he flew out to London on Oct. 14, 2012, for the annual International Association of Scientology conference.
"It was an important event, I felt it was important."
The Ex-Scientologist weighed in on Cruise and Suri's strained relationship and claimed the actor couldn't be connected to Suri because Holmes is seen as a "suppressive person" in Scientology.
The King of Queens star told The Post in 2020 that she was certain Cruise was waiting for Suri to get older before luring her into Scientology.
Remini continued that she was proud of Holmes for getting Suri out of something as dangerous as Scientology.
The host herself was raised as a Scientologist from age 9, following her mother's membership in the organization. She stepped out in 2013 following multiple questioning about the managing style of David Miscavige.
