Fans Alarmed Over Bruce Willis' Missing Tooth In Birthday Video

The video was shared by his ex-wife, Demi Moore, on his birthday on March 19.

Demi along with his current wife, Emma Heming Willis, his five daughters, and a few other guests can be seen in the clip singing the birthday song. The Die Hard star even put up a little performance himself.

He blew out his candles and everybody was laughing. But fans couldn’t help but notice he was missing one front tooth.

Among the numerous birthday greetings in the comments section, some pointed out the dental issue.

“What happened to his tooth?” one follower asked.

Another commented, “Something is very wrong with that picture Bruce have a missing tooth and Demi is beautiful again....what the hell [sic].”

A fan offered a possible explanation, saying, “[P]eople with dementia can be very moody and refuse to wear bridges and dentures. If you put it in, they’ll rip it right out.”

“Making them wear things they don’t want to wear or making them sit in a dental chair is not always an option,” the person added.

Others came to Bruce’s defense, saying that losing teeth is part of aging and people should just focus on the love his family was showering on him as he battled his illness.

The action superstar’s family announced last month that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

In a statement posted on Instagram, Emma wrote that “challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces.”

The FTD diagnosis came almost a year after the Willis/Moore ladies announced that he was retiring from acting. Back then, it was determined that he had aphasia, which was affecting his “cognitive abilities.”

Prior to his diagnosis, there were reports that he had been having problems on set.

Since news of his illness first broke, Emma has been constantly giving updates on his health and spreading awareness on FTD via social media.

In the morning of his birthday, she shared a video in which she revealed she’d been crying because of “the grief and sadness” that the disease could cause.

However, she also said she felt fortunate that so many people have been reaching out to show their love and support for Bruce and their family.

The 44-year-old former model and entrepreneur had her own birthday tribute for Bruce as well. She posted a video montage of happy moments with him, their children, and their blended family.

“He is pure love. He is so loved. And I’ll be loving him always. Happy Birthday my sweet 💌,” she wrote in the caption.

She also revealed her birthday wish for her husband, which was for fans to always keep him in their prayers.

“Thank you so much for loving and caring for him too 💞,” Emma, who has been married to the movie icon for 14 years, concluded her post.
