One Direction's Liam Payne Stuns Fans with His Transformation

Although fans were surprised to see Liam Payne show up at the red carpet premiere of his former bandmate, Louis Tomlinson's movie, All Of Those Voices, it was his drastic new look that got the people talking.

Fans shared their reactions over Payne's new look, with one user commenting, "Liam Payne has had a full face job, respect it," while another expressed disbelief, "Still can’t believe Liam Payne got buccal fat removal."

Many fans speculated that Payne had undergone buccal fat removal surgery which is currently the most sought-after trend among celebrities and other influential personalities.

An aesthetic doctor, shared his opinion about Liam's new look, saying "He looks like he may have had some jawline filler to give him a chiseled and contoured side profile."

Talking from the viewpoint of his experience in the field, the doctor further stated, "This is becoming a very popular treatment in my clinic where men are having jawline filler to masculinize their face."

He further revealed why this procedure is so popular among male celebrities, "A wider and chiseled jawline is associated with more strong masculine features."

Earlier in 2021, Liam confessed that he underwent a "wild booze and pills phase," which left him looking bloated and unsatisfied with his appearance.

He also shared his past struggles of maintaining sobriety while on tour, saying "There were a few pictures of me on a boat and I was all bloated out and I call it my pills-and-booze face."

He further added, "My face was 10 times bigger than it is now. The problem was, the best way to secure us was to lock us in our rooms, and what is in the room? A mini-bar."

Talking about how he got stuck in this phase, Liam revealed, "So I had a party-for-one that seemed to carry on for years. It was wild but the only way you could get frustration out."

He further stated that his bad habits reignited during the lockdown period making him reliant on alcohol which ultimately led to his increased weight.

Detailing the effects of alcohol addiction on his body, Liam said, "I put on so much weight, I was eating badly and describing it as a bulking period.

The phrase "It's for a role," became his scapegoat every time he was inquired about his increasing weight, "That’s the best excuse if anyone asks if you’ve put on weight."

Revealing his moment of realization, Liam said, "I put a lot of weight on. What got me, I did one performance on TV with the BAFTAs and I was disappointed with myself. I didn’t look how I wanted to look."

As the country stepped out of the lockdown, Liam stepped up to the gym to get his original physique back and minimize his alcohol consumption.

He has been currently investing a lot of time and effort in his solo career but showed that his heart still belongs to One Direction as he stepped out to support Louis' film.

While Liam confessed to not being close with Louis during their One Direction days, he now calls him his "best mate" and has maintained a tight friendship with him ever since the band split up in 2016.

Liam graced the red carpet premiere in seemingly good spirits and looked dapper in a white and black blazer alongside his girlfriend Kate Cassidy who stunned in a black mini dress.

All Of Those Voices is all set to release in cinemas on March 22 and "takes a refreshingly raw and real look at Louis Tomlinson's musical journey."
