Tom Sandoval Apologizes for Affair Scandal with Ariana Madix

On Tuesday night, Tom Sandoval took to Instagram to offer fans an insight into his emotions through an apology post directed at Ariana Madix for his affair with Raquel Leviss.

The Vanderpump Rules star began his apology by saying, "I want to first and foremost apologize to everyone I've hurt through this process."

Coming to Ariana, he said, "Most of all, I want to apologize to Ariana. No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly."

He said about his months-long affair, "I made mistakes, I was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love."

Sandoval said about the damage his actions caused Ariana, "I can only imagine how devastating this has been for Ariana and everyone around us. I feel really horrible about that."

Sandoval then went on to express that his deepest regret is that he "dishonored Ariana," clarifying that his intentions were never to "disappoint so many people, including our loving families and friends." Intentions or not, that is exactly what Sandoval did.

Recalling his time with Madix, Sandoval asserted that his feelings were "stronger than any camera could ever have captured," revealing that some of their "best times together" and "biggest struggles" were never filmed.

The reality TV star wished that "things happened in a different order" so that his relationship with Madix would not have been so "severely tarnished," ending his statement with "I owed Ariana better."

Sandoval and Madix were together for over a decade, and the Vanderpump Rules star is "beyond sad" about how it ended.

Regretting his choices, he said, "The choices I made hurt so many people. I acted in a way that clashes with who and how I want to be."

Sandoval accepted that he needed to "reflect and work on myself. I have work to do. I always have, and I always will."

The post, which has garnered 16,481 likes in 8 hours, marks Sandoval's first Apology to Madix following the scandal.

Before apologizing to Madix, Sandoval shares a post on Saturday to clear public opinion about his friends, "Hey, I fully understand and deserve ur anger & disappointment towards me, but please leave [Tom] Schwartz my friends and family out of this situation…"

Sandoval explained that Schwartz, his best friend and business partner, learned about the affair "very recently" but "did not condone it."

Following the cheating scandal, he addressed his message to the people planning to boycott his and Schwartz's bar, Schwartz and Sandy's.

He said about the injustice, "There are three other partners and 20 employees, who rely on the restaurant for income for them and their families."

Since he's the one who started all the trouble, Sandoval had promised to "step back" from his business "out of respect" for the employees and his colleagues.

As for Leviss, while she may not have addressed the scandal, she has filed a temporary restraining order against Scheana Shay following a "heated confrontation" between the two.

Her fans and supporters are still waiting for Madix to break the silence on the drama, but regardless of what she has to say, we're going to be Team Ariana.
