Tom Sandoval Responds to Cheating Scandal

Sandoval recently released a statement on Instagram responding to the cheating scandal. The alleged affair between Sandoval and Leviss seemed to have been going on for six months. The address was a lengthy one subtly addressing the cheating scandal.

The news outraged fans who planned to boycott Sandoval and Tom Schwartz's restaurant, Schwartz & Sandy's. Meanwhile, Schwartz and Sandoval's Vanderpump Rules storyline has been about getting investment in the restaurant.

The actor recently released a statement after the cheating scandal. He took to Instagram writing he deserved the anger and disappointment towards him. However, he added that people should leave his friends, family, and Schwartz out of it. 

The actor continued that the restaurant had three other partners and 20 employees who relied on the restaurant for their income. The Alien Presence actor added that the people's anger should be directed toward him alone. He ended the statement by saying he would address everything soon. 

Schwartz & Sandy's restaurant was also quick to release a statement after a series of negative comments online. The restaurant's account, which was likely run by their partner Greg, was used.

In the statement, they urged people to keep in mind that people's livelihood depended on the restaurant. They added that people should consider their staff before posting negative comments. The restaurant added that those comments affect innocent people and not only those they are angry with. 

Sandoval and his long-time partner, Madix recently broke up after Madix discovered he had an affair. The news of their split was shared on March 4, 2023. Madix stumbled upon the evidence, and things haven't remained the same since then.

Sources shared that the 37-year-old model learned about the alleged affair on Wednesday. Madix was at a venue in Los Angeles supporting Sandoval's band, Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras.

While at the venue, a racy selfie video from Leviss popped up on the 39-year-old actor's phone. A source added that the model then saw their history of inappropriate texts while strolling. 

A source revealed on Friday that Madix and Sandoval were having problems for a while before the cheating scandal. The source told People that learning about the affair was the final straw for the model.

The insider added that Madix has put up with a lot of things throughout their relationship but "she won't sit back and be disrespected this way." The actress is yet to publicly address the situation. 

Sandoval and Madix first connected when the model joined the cast of Vanderpump Rules in 2013. It was unsure when the duo first met but Sandoval's then-girlfriend, Kristen Doute accused him of cheating on her with Madix.

However, both Sandoval and Madix denied the allegation. After breaking up with Doute, Sandoval confirmed he and Madix were dating. This was during the season 2 reunion which aired in February 2014.

The couple also made their relationship Instagram official that night. After that, they went out as a couple to Coachella, dressed up for Halloween, and attended the Kentucky Derby.

In December 2018, the model shared on Instagram that she had cancer removed from her body and her lymph nodes biopsied. She added that the experience brought her closer to Sandoval.

However, in January 2019, the model said the Behind Your Eyes actor betrayed her trust. Their woes began from there and it became an on-and-ff issue. She revealed it in the confession in season 7 of Vanderpump Rules.

Sandoval had shared with his friends that Madix and Lala Kent had a sexual encounter in his car. The couple later settled, bought a house together, and published a book in 2019.

In February 2020, Madix also got candid about suffering from depression and suicidal thoughts. Sandoval was there to offer support during that time. In October 2021, the model also shared that she would be open to marrying Sandoval.

The revelation was surprising because Madix had a strong stance against getting married and having kids. In November 2021, the author shared that she froze her eggs. In January 2023, the duo denied rumors of having an open relationship.
