Scandal Alert: Liam Hemsworth To Sue Miley Cyrus?

Per The Daily Mail, a Twitter user claimed to have found legal documents showing that Aussie actor Liam was out to sue Miley for defamation.

The media outlet straight-up states that the documents were generated online and are fake; however, there's plenty of juicy stuff with regards to why Liam is claimed to have wanted revenge.

Flowers, which has now topped the Billboard 100 and broken Spotify's streaming records, has enjoyed over a month at #1. Fans of 30-year-old Miley largely assume that the singledom anthem is about Liam cheating on her.

While Miley and Liam dated on and off for years, their marriage, itself, was brief, lasting only eight months.

The fake online doc claims that Liam says the song caused him to suffer "damage to public image [and] income," plus "humiliation."

It further claimed that Hemsworth was "about to lose his contract with Netflix." Miley and Liam got engaged in May 2012. They split in September 2013 prior to reuniting in 2016.

Former Disney star Miley tied the knot with Liam in December 2018. Their divorce was finalized in January 2020. 

In the music video for Flowers, Miley is seen in empowering scenes, ones opening with her sashaying around sunny L.A. streets while in a gold Saint Laurent dress with a stomach cut-out.

Miley also strips down to black lace underwear before diving into a swimming pool and enjoying a rope workout in her lingerie. For fans, though, it's all about the black pantsuit Miley wore while on the red carpet with Liam, and plenty more.

In 2020, Cyrus opened up on her failed marriage.

“What really sucked about it wasn’t the fact that me and someone that I loved realized that we don’t love each other the way that we used to anymore, that’s OK, I can accept that,” she stated. “I can’t accept the villainizing, and just all those stories. It’s amazing that the public kind of thinks there’s no gap of time they didn’t see that could possibly be what led to this.”

Miley is pulling a bit of a Rihanna Umbrella with how long she's managing to keep her track at top slot! Six weeks!

Miley released Flowers on January 13, which happens to be 33-year-old Liam's birthday.

With lyrics like: "I can love me better than you can," it certainly looks like the record might be a swipe at the singer's ex.

Continuing as she spoke to podcast host Joe Rogan, Miley spoke to love, adding:

“It was that thing I just needed not because we were in love anymore, but because the comfort and because my brain said, ‘Oh, this feels better. This is comforting.'"

Fans only have to wait a week for the March 10 release of Miley's Endless Summer Vacation album.

The EP, now offering a track list, will be the first record since Miley's Plastic Hearts album dropped in 2020.

This goes way back! Miley and Liam met on the set of The Last Song in 2009, then falling in love.

While Liam is now dating Gabriella Brooks, Miley is with drummer Maxx Morando.
