His Colleagues Update On His Recovery

Before his cheeky update, Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly had shared an update on his recovery.

Lilly revealed to Access Hollywood that she went to Renner's house after the incident and was astounded by his development.

“I walked in his house and got chicken skin because I was like, ‘Why are you mobile? Why are you mobile? What’s happening?'” Lilly said. “I expected to sit at his bedside and hold his hand while he moaned and groaned in pain and wasn’t able to move."

Evangeline Lilly Expresses Shock At His Recovery

I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and I. Much love and appreciation to you all.”

How The Accident Happened

According to statements made by authorities, the accident happened on January 1 when Renner was attempting to help a family member after the car his relative was driving got stuck in the snow.

It Happened At His Home

Renner, who owns a home close to Lake Tahoe in Reno, experienced a storm the previous night that dumped an estimated three feet of snow there.

How He Got Ran Over

Renner successfully removed the car from his driveway using his PistenBully, a 14,000-pound snowcat. The snowplow suddenly started to roll as he talked to the family member after getting out of the PistenBully.

The "Hurt Locker" actor was "run over" by the enormous snow groomer when he tried to get back into the PistenBully to stop it from moving.
