What Christina Hall Said About Tarek El Moussa's New Baby

Following the arrival of their first child, Tarek and Heather received plenty of well-wishes from friends and loved ones, including the HGTV star's former wife, Christina.

During a recent joint interview with Us Weekly, Tarek opened up about Christina's reaction to his son's birth. The television personality told the outlet that his ex-wife congratulated them and was happy for them. In his words:

"Christina congratulated us, of course, and she’s very happy for us. When it comes to gifts, we got so many gifts. I was actually surprised … It was really, really nice."

Christina and Tarek's relationship dates back to 2005 when they first encountered each other while working as real estate agents at Prudential, a Fortune 500 insurance firm in California.

At the time, Christina was 22, while Tarek was 24. Initially, the pair kept their friendship strictly professional since Christina was newly single and Tarek was in a relationship.

However, on October 9, 2006, the pair became romantically involved after Tarek's previous relationship ended. The former couple continued dating while working together at Prudential. Then, in 2008, Christina left real estate when the market crashed.

The following year, on April 17, after nearly three years of dating, Christina and Tarek tied the knot on Colorado Island, California. On September 22, 2010, the former couple welcomed their first child, Taylor Reese.

The pair's second child, Brayden James, joined the family on August 20, 2015. With two lovely children, many had hoped that Christina and Tarek's marriage would last a lifetime, but sadly, it didn't.

In December 2016, the real estate investors announced they were calling it quits after seven years of marriage. The following month, Tarek filed for divorce, and by January 2018, their split was finalized.

In July 2019, Tarek and Heather crossed paths while boating with mutual friends in Newport Beach, California. They began dating shortly after and went public with their relationship in August of that same year.

The couple's relationship continued to progress, and in 2020, Tarek popped the big question. On October 23, 2021, Tarek and Heather finally exchanged wedding vows in an outdoor ceremony in Santa Barbara, California.

In July 2022, the couple announced they were expecting their first child. More than anything, Tarek was excited about becoming a father for the third time.

At the time, the television personality told ET in a joint interview with Heather that starting over wasn't something he thought he would be doing, but life threw curveballs at him, and he couldn't be more thrilled.

Away from fatherhood, Tarek and Heather also spoke about co-parenting with Christina. The Selling Sunset star disclosed that Tarek's ex-wife had been incredible to stepparent with.

According to Heather, there was great communication, and they put the kids as the topmost priority. She also mentioned that it had been four years since Christina and Tarek's marriage ended, and they were in the best place.

Heather further relayed that they worked together, which was most important, adding that they were raising good humans and wanted to continue doing so. Overall, co-parenting for the trio is stress-free and amazing.

Tarek and Heather welcomed their new bundle of joy on January 31, 2023. A few days later, the proud mom took to Instagram to share snapshots of the baby boy.

However, fans couldn't see the baby's face, and Heather kept it concealed. But on February 15, the couple unveiled the baby's face in a joint Instagram post.

They revealed the infant's name as Tristan Jay El Moussa — Tristan being the name Tarek was supposed to have at birth and Jay being Heather's father's middle name and four generations of Jay.

Heather and Tarek are more than thrilled about the new milestone. The actress says carrying Tristan and then going through labor was beautiful, while Tarek describes his son's birth as beautiful.
