Larsa Pippen Sweetly Wishes Her 'Forever Valentine' Marcus Jordan

Larsa joined a host of celebrities who took to their social media pages to pour out their love for their cherished significant others. In her Instagram post, the 48-year-old shared a snap of herself and Michael Jordan's son, Marcu Jordan, lounging at the beach. The pair warmed up to each other in the snap as Larsa put her curves on display in a bikini top and a pair of bum shorts. Her caption was simple but deeply significant, as she referred to Marcus as her "forever Valentine."

While fans file to the comments section to gush over the couple, Marcus also commented, sealing her declaration. He would later make an Instagram post of his own, sharing a snap of Larsa holding two large bouquets. He appeared to have been photographed indoors rocking an all-black outfit and a pair of white sneakers. Marcus wrote in his caption:

"Three Words, 8 letters. Happy Valentine's Day Babe."

When Larsa and Marcus sparked dating rumors last year, there was an uproar owing to a few factors. One of these was the complicated history between Larsa and Marcus' family. Over the years, her ex-husband and NBA champion Scottie Pippen has been at loggerheads with fellow champion, Michael Jordan, who is also Marcus' father. Scottie's feud with Michael worsened in 2020 after ESPN released The Last Dance docuseries.

There was also the issue of the gaping age difference between Larsa and Marcus. The Real Housewives of Miami star is 16 years his senior. However, it is safe to say that the lovers have no problem with that.

Back in September 2022, Larsa and Marcus got fans talking about the possibility of being a couple when they were spotted grabbing lunch. By the following month, insiders revealed to Us Weekly, the pair were dating and have been spending more time together. The source also stated that they were trying to be lowkey about it due to their family's rift.

However, during Bravocon, when Larsa was asked about the terms of her relationship with the Trophy Room CEO, she denied the dating speculations. The mom-of-four noted that they were good friends. She told Page Six, "We’ve been friends for the last couple of years, and I’m in a place right now where I’m finally open to dating. Every time I’m seen out with someone, [people] make it out to be more than it is, and it’s normally nothing.” 

With time, fans saw more of the duo on date nights and hangouts. They once came face to face with a critic when in November 2022. The pair had attended a San Diego Chargers game, where someone lashed out at their romance. As TMZ reported, the critic called Larsa out for being with Marcus. This appeared to be about the history between their families.

The following months saw more of Larsa and Marcus together. From glamming up for romantic dinner to holding hands outdoors, the air seemed to be pretty much into each other. All doubts, if any, were finally laid to rest when the couple went to Instagram stating that they are 'official'. Larsa and Marcus rang in the new year at his Trophy Room store in Orlando. They cozied up in the photo as they posed in front of a formal arrangement in the form of Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls jersey.

It appears that Larsa and Marcus are taking their love life in strides, popping a photo here and there, while generally not being too showy. However an insider revealed to Us Weekly, that the duo's "chemistry is off the charts,' even as they try to play coy. The source confirmed Larsa earlier words stating that they were friends for years, and "are crazy about each other."

It is safe to say that Marcus and Larsa are an unlikely couple owing to the factors earlier mentioned, but they seem to be going hard for each other, against the odds. Before making headlines concerning her current love life, Larsa was married to NBA alum Scottie Pippen from 1997 to 2021.

Larsa's decades-long marriage to Scottie resulted in the birth of four children, Scotty Jr., 22, Preston, 21, Justin, 18, and Sophia who was born in 2008. In 2016, Scottie filed for divorce, but in 2017, the couple briefly reconciled. By the following year, they get separated again, and Larsa filed for another divorce. The legal separation was finalized in 2021.

Since the end of her marriage to Scottie, Larsa has been romantically involved with a few celebrities. According to her, she was romantically involved with Tristan Thompson a few days before she started seeing Khloe Kardashian. She added that she introduced the NBA player to the Kardashian family. Larsa was also been spotted with another NBA star, Malik Beasly, in December 2020. At the time she faced backlash because Beasly was still married to his wife. She and the athlete had been dating until their split in April 2021.

There were once rumors that Larsa cheated on Scottie with superstar rapper, Future. However, she debunked the hearsay on social media as she tried to clear any opinions that she was with the rapper during her marriage.

The Arkansas native was friends with Kim Kardashian for a long time, until 2020 when it appeared as though the Kardashians unfollowed her on social media. At that time, she claimed that Kanye West "brainwashed" the entire family against her.

Larsa has been a Bravo star since the 2010s. She joined the Real Housewives franchise in 2011, appearing on The Real Housewives of Miami. However, the American socialite exited the show after one season. Presently she's back on RHOM after her return was announced in 2021.

Marcus and Larsa are keeping their relationship lowkey due to Scottie and Michael's bad blood. Back in their prime, the former athletes played for the Chicago Bulls and were known for their tight bond. This was during the 1980s and 1990s. However, their relationship turned sour when a rivalry brewed between them. After ESPN's The Last Dance was released, Scottie released his Unguarded memoir where he stated that he was upset about the content. He stated, "They glorified Michael Jordan while not giving nearly enough praise to me and my proud teammates."

Born on December 24, 1990, Marcus is Michael's second son born to him and his ex-wife, Juanita Vanoy. Like Larsa, Marcus was married, and has kids. He married his longtime lover, Yvette Prieto in 2013 and they welcomed twins the following year.

Marcus played college basketball at the University of Central Florida. He chose to go there in 2009, among other options including Davidson, Iowa, and Toledo. According to ESPN, his high school coach revealed that Marcus wanted to go to a school where he felt comfortable enough to make an impact.

He launched his Trophy Room company at the Walt Disney World shopping and entertainment district in 2016. The sneaker store was inspired by his dad's trophy room, and it offered the NBA legend's signature shoes and other sportswear. In 2019, Marcus converted his store into an online establishment.
