Rihanna's Performance Leaves Cara Delevingne In Tears

The 30-year-old British model was there only for one thing: to watch Rihanna’s electrifying, gravity-defying halftime show performance.

She was perfectly dressed for the occasion, too, making sure everybody knew which team she was on – team RiRi, of course. She wore a white T-shirt printed with the words “RIHANNA CONCERT INTERRUPTED BY A FOOTBALL GAME, WEIRD BUT WHATEVER.”

The shirt is from Savage X Fenty's Game Day collection but is currently sold out on the brand’s website – maybe because of Rihanna’s and Cara’s combined star power?

And what did she think of the performance? Delevingne stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden on Monday to talk about the experience.

She compared it to “an out-of-body experience” and said “it was so fun.”

She added, “I felt so grateful to be there and I've seen her play a lot of times, but it just felt so historical and amazing. I felt so proud. I cried, it was beautiful.”

Corden asked her if she knew before the show that Rihanna was pregnant. She said she didn’t but claimed she was able to predict what song she’d sing first.

Delevingne appeared on The Late Late Show alongside Ashton Kutcher and Quinta Brunson. The latter was with her at the Super Bowl (it was the “Rihanna Bowl” for Delevingne, Brunson said).

The Paper Towns actress has been friends with the R&B icon for a long time. She was part of the star-studded lineup of Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Vol. 4 show last year (and even bleached her famous eyebrows for it).

It’s not surprising then that she loved and “felt so proud” of her friend’s Super Bowl halftime show.

Not only did the Barbadian singer, 34, put on an amazing show that included 12 of her biggest hits, but she also made a surprising announcement.

She revealed during her performance that she was pregnant with baby number two!

She took the stage in an all-red outfit, with her bump clearly visible under it after she unzipped her top. Her rep later confirmed that she and her partner, A$AP Rocky, were indeed expecting.

Now, back to Delevingne. In her interview with Corden, she also spoke about her upcoming Hulu docuseries titled Planet Sex.

In the six-part series, she talks about – you guessed it – sex and explores her sexuality. The Life in a Year star identifies as “openly queer.”

“I thought I was a pretty open person who knew a lot about these subjects myself and I realized I didn’t,” she told Corden.

“I wanted to discover a lot but I also wanted to make this show kind of take the stigma away to talk about these subjects,” she added.

She traveled the world and met a lot of people for the show, which prompted Corden to ask what she considered to be the sexiest place on earth.

“Not England. England’s not a sexy place,” she replied, and added that she considered Brazil sexy but didn’t go there for the series.
