On February 1st, Ozzy Osbourne had to make one of the hardest statements of his long career: he canceled his upcoming tour, and he's unsure if he will be able to return to the stages. The 74-year-old singer has been living with Parkinson's for the past four years and recently got spinal surgery to avoid total paralysis after suffering a tragic fall.

The tour was supposed to be in the company of Judas Priest. A few weeks ago, the vocalist of this band, Rob Halford, expressed how eager he was for Ozzy to recover so they could go on tour together. He expected to get on the road by 2024 if it had to be postponed again.

Ozzy's last performance was in 2018 at the Ozzfest in Inglewood. Yet, he's determined to get back on stage as soon as possible. While talking to Billboard, he expressed how much he misses interacting with his fans, as this was his favorite part of touring.

The Black Sabbath singer suffered a tragic fall a few weeks after getting his Parkinson's diagnosis, which caused him severe nerve damage that could have resulted in irreversible paralysis if it wasn't treated in time. He had already been in an accident in 2003 that resulted in a neck injury that was only aggravated by the fall.

Earlier last month, Osbourne said, "The thing is my head is all right, my creativity is OK, my singing OK but I just can't f*****g walk much now." He also talked about how frustrating his life had become after his diagnosis.

The rocker was nominated in four categories for the Grammys for his latest album, Patient Number 9. The album contains the participation of several legendary musicians, such as Eric Clapton, Chad Smith, Tony Iommi, and the late Taylor Hawkins and Jeff Beck. Osbourne recalled, "He died literally a week or two after he worked on my album," referring to Hawkins.

He's In America

Ozzy was seen a few hours after his announcement in Los Angeles. He's staying in the US as his kids, Jack and Kelly Osbourne, live there with his grandchildren. In the pictures, the singer walked with a cane while showing the peace sign to the paparazzi.
