In 2022, Reality TV star Julie Chrisley's fans were left heartbroken and worried after she bagged a prison sentence. But now, Julie's supporters' minds can be at rest as the Chrisley Knows Best star's daughter, Savannah, recently revealed her mother is doing very well. Find out more below.

Savannah Chrisley Opens Up About Her Mother's Well-Being 

Savannah recently confessed that her parents, Julie and Todd, were keeping their spirits up and remaining productive amid their prison sentences. She spoke candidly about her parents' well-being during a January 31, 2023, episode of her Unlocked podcast, Trashboard Tabloids and The Truth.

Savannah began by noting that although it seemed weird and crazy to say, the truth was that Julie had been doing very well since the start of her prison sentence at Kentucky's Federal Medical Center.

Julie Chrisley Is Going To Church And Playing Games

According to Savannah, the reality TV star was going to church, working, and playing some spades. The 25-year-old further noted, "When I tell you she's playing, she's running a dog on everyone." Overall, Savannah said knowing her mom was okay delighted her heart.

Savannah Shares Updates About Her Father

Savannah also gave details about her father, Todd, who is doing his time at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida. She noted that the TV personality was committed to focusing on his religion.

According to Savannah, Todd worked in a chapel, which she found absolutely amazing. The youngster further admitted to being proud of her father and the man he was. Then, Savannah revealed that she and Todd were communicating fine through email.

The podcast host said communicating via email made it easier for her to hear all the prisoners' stories and how her father affected their lives and encouraged change. Besides communicating through email, Savannah mentioned that the family talked to Todd on the phone and saw him physically.

For the young lady, such moments made her grateful. According to Savannah, many were not privileged to see their loved ones locked up in different facilities that don't allow visitors. But thankfully, she and other family members didn't have to "say hello, through a piece of glass."

Todd was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison in November 2022, while Julie bagged a seven-year sentence. The pair received an additional 16 months of probation each and were ordered by the court to pay restitution.

What Crime Did The Duo Commit?

The verdict came after Todd and Julie were found guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the IRS, and tax evasion. According to reports, the pair will pay back the money they stole, the amount of which will eventually be disclosed.
