Two Hollywood heavyweights, Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston, are collaborating for a brand-new body-swap comedy. In a future project from Amazon Studios, the two have been paired opposite one another, as reported by ET.

As of right now, not much is known about the project other than the fact that it will be written and directed by Max Barbakow and supported by Margot Robbie's production firm, LuckyChap Entertainment, who will work with the two stars' respective companies, Red Om Films, and Echo Films, to create.
While Aniston is following up Murder Mystery with Murder Mystery 2 on Netflix, Roberts made a comedic comeback on the big screen with 2022's Ticket to Paradise, which was a box-office success.
Both have also starred in dramatic television shows, with Aniston now filming the third season of Apple TV+'s The Morning Show while Roberts is the executive producer of the limited political series Gaslit.
The two haven't collaborated since 2016's Mother's Day, which is why the new movie is one to look out for.
Since his 2020 time loop comedy starring Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti was purchased by Neon and Hulu at Sundance for a then-festival record sum, Barbakow has been linked to several high-profile projects.
This makes him the ideal choice to take the helm of another star-studded comedy redo of a typical science-fiction trope.
The body swap movie is in good hands given Barbakow's prior success in directing and writing the script for such a unique-yet-unoriginal and beloved film as Palm Springs, which was also based on his original pitch.
With two of Hollywood's most recognizable leading ladies on board, it's easy to understand why the project was so in demand.
The comedy will be made by LuckyChap Entertainment, Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Josey McNamara, producing company. Along with Roberts and her Red Om Films label and Aniston's Echo Films, Barbakow will also be producing.
The body swap movie starring Aniston and Roberts was just pitched early last week, so it might be some time before viewers learn more about it.
Following the surprise success of 2022's Ticket To Paradise, which saw Julia Roberts and George Clooney reunite on the big screen for the first time in years, news about the upcoming movie has surfaced.
