Shemar Moore's Sweet New Pic of Baby Daughter Frankie

The Criminal Minds actor's Instagram post from Monday, January 30, showed his baby girl nestled up his chest as they seemed to lounge indoors. The new father sat on a black couch while sporting a casual look that included a vest jacket and head warmer that read the words, "baby girl" in a bold yellow color. Shemar rocked a pair of tinted shades as his baby girl looked dainty in a patterned onesie and head warmer. He heartily captioned the post with some heart emojis:

In comments numbering over 4000, Moore's fans took to the comment section gushing over the duo. Someone mentioned that the picture was surreal, while another relayed that it was a precious sight to behold. A fan made a hilarious reference to his hit crime series Criminal Minds as they relayed that "nobody goin be messing with Frankie because she's got Hondo and his team watching her back!."

News that the S.W.A.T. actor has welcomed his first child became known after a rep confirmed to People. The statement read that Shemar and his partner Jesiree Dizon were happy to announce her birth. The following day, an overjoyed Shemar took to Instagram to introduce the baby girl to well-wishers. The excited new dad penned his joy:

Gushing about being a girl dad, Shemar continued his post by remembering his late mother Marilyn, as he jokingly noted that she was "puff puff passing, drinking her wine and doing her happy dance" about the baby's birth. He relayed how much he missed his mother while continuing to look toward the future regarding Frankie as she grows up.

A few months ago, the 52-year-old actor appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show where he announced that he would soon become a father. He noted that he and Dizon were expecting a daughter in February. However, it is safe to say baby Frankie decided to make her grand entrance just before January ended.

While on the show, Shemar could not hide his excitement as he gushed about preparing for fatherhood. He stated that he was worried at first "that maybe that ship had sailed kind of thing, and, you know, God had my back and things lined up. ...My life is pretty grand but I know once God does call my name, once I get this experience, I'll be able to go to heaven whole."

While this is Shemar's first child, Dizon is already a mom of two from an older relationship. Dizon is an actress and model known for her roles in TV shows like Hawaii Five-O, Days of Our Lives, and True Blood. She is signed to Wilhelmina Models and has worked on a spring campaign for Norman Cosmetics.

Dizon is 39 years old and she had a child with fellow actor Stephen Bishop.

Back when the couple revealed the gender of their unborn child, Dizon expressed her desire to have more kids in the future. She talked about having a baby boy because her first son was 'easy." She also noted that if she had a baby girl, she would be fine with it, because that meant they had more than one.

Prior to the announcement of their daughter's birth, Shemar's relationship with Dizon was pretty much under the radar. There isn't much to know about when they started dating. They also never posted images of each other on social media.
