The Little Women actress stopped by on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon opening up about motherhood and the latest addition that her family was expecting. Danes recalled the moment her sons, Rowan, 4, and 10-year-old Cyrus shared how they felt about welcoming a new baby. She noted that Cyrus took it without fuss as he appeared to have "sort of resigned to it." According to her, referring to Rowan, "the worst has happened."

The My So-Called Life actress shared that Rowan's reaction was more hilarious and full of fuss. She relayed how he was "categorically opposed to the idea of a younger sibling. The star mom playfully stated that he had more to lose, and more was at stake. She described his reaction, "He said, 'Yeah, no no no, I don't like it. I like peace, Mama.' I was like, that's rich because that dude does not shut up."
Danes stated that her younger son even went on to suggest how they could manage the situation of a new addition. She stated that he suggested that "after the baby came out of her tummy, they could give it away to a family that did not have a baby." Rowan let his mom know they "were done."
