On January 1, 2023, Jeremy was involved in an accident while trying to help remove a family member's car from being stuck in the snow near his home in the Mt. Rose Highway area of Reno, Nevada. During the process, the actor's snow plow ended up running him over and critically injured him.

Jeremy Underwent Surgery

Jeremy was immediately airlifted to a hospital. The following day, he underwent two surgeries after suffering orthopedic issues and blunt chest trauma. According to reports, Jeremy's snow plow was a Sno-Cat weighing at least 14,330 pounds.

Four days after the accident, the actor shared a post on Instagram, which saw him appear in good spirits. However, Jeremy did not look so good, as his eye was swollen shut while he was breathing out of an oxygen tank.

On January 16, Jeremy confirmed he was out of the hospital and back home, where he would continue to recover. He confirmed the news while replying to a tweet from the official Mayor of Kingstown's Twitter account.

Jeremy Announced The Premiere Of His Movie

In the Tweet, Jeremy disclosed he was excited to watch the season premiere of his Paramount+ series Mayor of Kingstown at home. In his words:

"Outside my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home 🙏❤🙏."
