Wondering the reason for Spears's latest antics? She and her husband, Sam Asghari, stepped out for dinner on Friday night at the JOEY restaurant in San Fernando Valley. Spears and Asghari got married on June 9, 2022, in an intimate ceremony at her residence in Los Angeles after dating for five years.
As soon as they stepped in, everyone around, including the paparazzi, brought out their phones to catch a glimpse of the pop star, which made her feel very uncomfortable as it was supposed to be a private, cozy night with the love of her life.
The Toxic singer, who couldn't take the attention anymore, began yelling and talking incoherently in what eyewitnesses tagged as a "manic" episode. She even covered her face with the restaurant menu at some point to reduce the attention, but it fell on deaf ears.
We're not sure if it was Spear's act that angered Asghari or the attention from the press, but he stormed out of the restaurant looking visibly upset, leaving behind Spears alone at the table, who continued talking "jiberish" according to witnesses.
A few minutes later, Spears left the establishment in the company of her bodyguard, who returned much later to clear the tab.
This outing is coming after fans have repeatedly wondered why the singer is rarely seen outside her house over the last six months. Her lack of public appearance have led to series of conspiracy theories about her health and mental state, so much that she had to lock her comment section for a while.
