Earlier this month, NFL fans and players were shocked after Buffalo Bills Safety Damar Hamlin had a life-threatening incident on the field. Over a week later, the player seems to be doing just fine and is supporting his team from home while focusing on recovering fully.

Damar may not be fit enough to play for his team, but the star continues to be with them in spirit. On Sunday, the Buffalo Bills took on the Miami Dolphins in a playoff game, and Damar showed his support.

Inside Damar's Twitter Post

The NFL Safety took to Twitter to cheer his team on with an amazing post. He shared a 27-second video of himself soaking in all the cheers he and his teammates received before going over to shake the spectators and give out his gloves.

Damar Cheers His Team On

In Damar's caption to the video post, he noted that his heart was with his guys as they took on the Miami Dolphins. He also said he was supporting them from home while focusing on his recovery, adding that he wanted to be out there with them more than anything.

Damar also followed up his post with other tweets throughout the game. In a tweet, he shouted out his fellow safety Dean Marlowe and congratulated running back James Cook for an outstanding performance in another tweet.

The Buffalo Bills Grabbed The Win

Thankfully, Damar's cheers were not in vain as the Buffalo Bills clinched the win, beating the Miami Dolphins with a 34-31 score. Thrilled by the win, Damar shared another tweet, expressing his happiness and love for the team.

Damar Suffered Cardiac Arrest

Damar's posts come about two weeks after he suffered a cardiac arrest on the field during the Buffalo Bills' match against the Cincinnati Bengals. Immediately, health workers arrived, and CPR was administered on the field for multiple minutes.

The Effect Of The Injury

Thankfully, his heartbeat was restored, and he was rushed to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was said to be in critical condition. The tragic occurrence also led to the match being postponed 90 minutes after it began.

Damar Was Discharged After A Few Days 

For the next few days, Damar received healthcare while placed on oxygen. On January 11, 2023, he was discharged and seems to be recovering remarkably.

Damar Visited The Training Center 

Over the weekend, Damar showed up at the Buffalo Bills training center, where he met his teammates and took some amazing pictures. In the meantime, it is unknown when Damar will return to the field, but fans can only hope for the best.
