All is right in Jessie J's world again as the award-winning singer and pop star shared her pregnancy news in a lovely video that showcased her cute baby bump on Friday. This is good news for fans and friends of the singer, as she suffered an unfortunate miscarriage 13 months ago.

The Flashlight singer opened the new year on a joyous note as she took to Instagram to announce that she's expecting a new bundle of joy in a video that documented her pregnancy journey.

She captioned the sweet video "I am so happy and terrified to finally share thus...Please be gentle with me. Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate covered pickle with no questions asked.”

The video showed Jessie in various clips with a growing belly and opened with pictures of the positive pregnancy test strip. Also included were clips of an ultrasound, as her own song titled Sunflower plays in the background.

We can't possibly ignore the see-through mesh number Jessie J donned in one of the clips, which she paired with matching black undergarments and a gold bracelet. The 34-year-old also rocked a black figure-hugging ankle-length dress that showed off her bumps and curves.

The well-documented video also gave us a look at the baby's activities in Jessie's belly. This time, it gave her a little kick which she luckily caught on camera while recording.

A Heartbreaking Miscarriage

Just over a year ago, in November 2021, the Bang Bang singer announced a devastating miscarriage on her Instagram. She revealed she had been told she had lost her unborn baby after going in for a third scan, where doctors couldn't find a heartbeat.

In the clip, she opened up to her followers on her decision to get pregnant on her own following her split from her boyfriend Max Pham in October 2021.

Jessie described the miscarriage as an experience that has put life into perspective for her in a heartbreaking but beautiful way.

The singer revealed in the clip how much she was still in shock, but will put on a brave face to perform in Los Angeles after sharing the news because she finds singing therapeutic.
