Mom Influencer Gets Hate For Showing Her Messy House

Taylor Paul, a mom-of-two influencer on TikTok, shared what her house looks like when it's a mess. She started the video with a caption saying "Your room is a reflection of your mind". In the short clip, Taylor shows her disorganized living room with her husband and child chilling on the couch.

Next to the living room was the kitchen, which was also in disarray. The counter was full of dirty dishes and trash from takeout food. Some cabinets were also open and the floor was littered with more stuff.

In the hallway near the kitchen, more stuff was lying on the floor. Open storage boxes were in the middle of the area, along with clothes and boxes. A kid's high chair was also in the frame, with a dirty bowl and bottle.

Things get progressively messy as she heads to the rooms. The clip shows the rooms had clothes lying around on the floor and the beds were not made. Kids' toys can also be seen on the floor, along with other dirty clothes.

Then finally, the clip ended in the bathroom, where loads of things were scattered on the floor and the counter. Taylor captioned the post with "Jealous I'm so clear headed?"

Many people were disgusted by Taylor's messy house. Some even pointed out that a chaotic environment can be a sign of depression.

Several followers, especially moms, came to Taylor's defense. They explained that a messy space is sometimes unavoidable when you have children. People also thought it was refreshing to see an influencer be so real on social media.

After the video went viral, Taylor posted another video. This time, it was a cleaning video in response to a follower's request. By the end of the clip, the living room and kitchen looked pristine.
